This CPD training course explores how the principles of Feng Shui can be applied within law firms to create a more harmonious and productive work environment. Given the contentious nature of legal practice, this course aims to help legal professionals understand how to mitigate negative energy and enhance overall well-being through effective spatial arrangements and design. Participants will learn how to assess their office layouts, identify sources of stress, and implement Feng Shui techniques to enhance employee well-being and client interactions.

  • Identify sources of negative energy within law firm environments and their impact on productivity and morale.
  • Explore practical applications of Feng Shui to optimize office layouts, workspaces, and client interaction areas.
  • Develop strategies to implement Feng Shui principles to foster a positive work culture and mitigate risks.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Feng Shui adjustments in enhancing workplace dynamics and employee satisfaction.

This course is designed for legal professionals, including lawyers, paralegals, administrative staff, and law firm managers who are interested in enhancing their work environment and overall well-being through the application of Feng Shui principles.

Speakers:

Joshua Chu

Joshua is a qualified lawyer practicing in Hong Kong. Joshua is also the current serving Director at China Information Technology Development Limited (HKEx 8178), one of Hong Kong's leading technology companies in the field of predictive artificial intelligence. 

Aside from his role with CITD, he is also the Group Chief Risk Officer at Coinllectibles™ and XBE, and is also currently a Senior Consultant at Prosynergy (a regulatory consulting firm founded and led by ex-SFC Regulators). As for his legal private practice, Joshua is currently Of Counsel with Hauzen LLP.

In addition to his professional roles, Joshua is also the current serving Co-Chair of The Hong Kong Web3 Association, a non-profit dedicated to the promoting education for responsible blockchain and web3 tech integration in traditional businesses.


Melizza Anievas

Melizza is a Contributor at Core DAO, focusing on institutional and product marketing, and serving as Senior Vice President at Tokenis3. With over years of experience in consulting in blockchain marketing and operations since 2019, Melizza excels at devising growth-driven strategies. As a seasoned business strategist and management consultant, she specializes in providing support to startups and Web3 enterprises. Melizza is an early core member of GAIA Labs.xyz, a women-led Web3/AI accelerator and incubator based in Silicon Valley.  Previously, she served as a partner and Chief Operating Officer at a prominent Web3 venture studio, where she effectively managed teams and catered to the needs of over 100 clients.

Melizza is also the co-founder of Women in Web3 Hong Kong, a recently established non-profit organization in March 2024 that seeks to uplift and provide assistance to women working in the industry, while also extending a warm welcome to those who are interested in learning more about it.
